8/12/08 Southeast Missouri State volleyball has been picked to finish third in the Ohio Valley Conference preseason poll, released today by the conference office. The Redhawks received four first place votes and tallied a total of 127 points in the annual poll as selected by the conference's head coaches and sports information directors.
8/5/08 Redhawks volleyball Head Coach Renata Nowacki announced the hiring of Randi Raff as an assistant coach for the upcoming 2008 season. She comes to Southeast Missouri after spending the last two years as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach at Purdue University where she served as the primary trainer for the Boilermakers volleyball, diving and nationally ranked women's golf team. She also served as the trainer for the Boilermakers cheerleading squad.
7/30/08 For the fifth time in seven seasons the Southeast Missouri State volleyball team has gained national recognition for their hard work off the court by being named one of the top teams academically in the NCAA. The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced the Redhawks volleyball team as one of 70 NCAA Division I programs to be awarded the AVCA Team Academic Award for academic excellence during the 2007-08 season.
